The company aims to give businesses scaling from small to mid-market a competitive edge in this new era by combining data, AI, and human expertise across its platform, according to CEO Sasan Goodarzi.
Growing and mid-market businesses often face a common hurdle: a lack of timely, actionable insights needed to scale confidently. Intuit’s latest AI-driven platform aims to address that, helping business leaders and accounting firms turn data chaos into actionable insights.
“AI is driving the largest technology disruption in decades, perhaps centuries, which is fundamentally changing how businesses run,” said Intuit CEO Sasan Goodarzi, explaining that the company’s vision is to harness data, AI, and human insight to give every business using its platform a competitive edge.
Unveiled in October by Goodarzi at Intuit Connect, the company’s event for multi-service accounting firms, its new “system of intelligence” is designed to support real-time decision-making. Most growing businesses are looking for more than just a way to automate routine work, they need to fortify financial decision-making as operations become more complex.
With Intuit’s all-in-one platform, new and enhanced AI agents work alongside existing capabilities within various business functions, enabling them to coordinate across departments. A Payroll Agent, for example, can compile employee hours, detect anomalies, and prepare ready-to-approve payroll drafts. A Sales Tax Agent can flag potential compliance issues before filing, and Accounting and Project Management agents track performance metrics and provide recommendations based on real-time data.
Scaling businesses can’t afford blind spots, so having real-time insights across operations is critical. Instead of manually pulling information from individual tools and systems, users can consolidate data across entities, including from third-party sources, and get valuable insights and forecasts. According to Intuit, this approach reduces administrative work and improves visibility, enabling businesses to respond more quickly to changing conditions.
At the heart of these new capabilities is Intuit Enterprise Suite, an AI-native ERP solution for mid-market businesses. It centralizes financial and operational data across multiple entities, giving CFOs and controllers a single dashboard for managing multiple functions across the business.
Goodarzi said Intuit’s goal is to deliver enterprise-grade automation in a way that’s accessible to companies that are outgrowing traditional small-business software. Compared to legacy ERP solutions, which can be slow and costly to implement, Intuit Enterprise Suite is designed to be quick and easy to deploy and learn, as well as cost-effective to scale.
By integrating its AI agents and enterprise tools into a single platform, Intuit aims to help businesses act on intelligence rather than intuition. Intuit reports that its virtual team of AI agents can save businesses up to 12 hours per month by automating data entry and reconciliation processes. For CFOs and controllers managing growing operations, that time can be redirected toward scenario planning, capital allocation, and long-term growth initiatives.
Also introduced at Intuit Connect was the Intuit Accountant Suite, designed for accounting firms seeking to scale their operations. Built with input from accountants, the suite integrates client management, business planning, service delivery, collaboration, and team management. According to the 2025 Intuit QuickBooks Accountant Technology Survey, 81% said AI boosts productivity, and 89% said better integration of their tech stack frees time for strategic advisory work. With Accountant Suite, firms can streamline routine tasks, allowing them to focus on more profitable client work.
“[It] gives firms the ability to manage their clients and teams more effectively, giving them time back to deliver higher-value advisory services and scale their own businesses,” said Simon Williams, vice president, accountant partnerships and engagement, Intuit.
Even with technology doing much of the heavy lifting, human expertise remains essential for users. Throughout the platform, businesses can continue to connect with their accountant as well as Intuit Experts, backed by AI-powered workflows and Intuit’s secure data, for guidance.
Intuit’s approach reflects a broader trend toward connected, insight-driven operations. For growing businesses, AI is a valuable tool for enhancing decision accuracy and speed. With the expanding functionality of Intuit Enterprise Suite and the launch of Intuit Accountant Suite, mid-market businesses, their CFOs, and accounting firms now have access to the intelligence and automation historically reserved for large enterprises, providing leaders with the clarity and confidence to act quickly.
