Snowflake Chief Information Officer Mike Blandina, speaking at the Money20/20 fintech conference on Monday in Las Vegas, said his company’s partnership with Palantir will enable both companies to collaborate with “forward-deployed engineering teams” giving customers on-site help in using artificial intelligence.
The customer networks, technologies and philosophies at Snowflake and Palantir are well aligned for the partnership, which was announced on Oct. 16, he said. Through the tie-up, Snowflake and Palantir will help customers yield “AI promises quickly, and with two really brand name companies, both in data and AI,” Blandina said. Snowflake, based in Bozeman, Mont., offers data storing and processing services, while Denver-based Palantir focuses on data analysis.
