With regulatory policy, interest rates and tariffs continuing to shift and artificial intelligence still evolving, CFOs need to pay careful attention to how such changes can affect their businesses and plan for multiple scenarios. Today’s finance chiefs also need to ensure they are working closely with other members of the C-suite, such as chief information and operating officers and human resource leaders, to ensure their companies are investing in the right tools and talent to drive their businesses forward.

Top finance conferences in 2027
Radiance 2027
Feb. 15-17
Atlanta
Hosted by HighRadius, a provider of fintech enterprise SaaS services, Radiance 2027 will feature over 80 breakout sessions on topics across the intersection of finance and technology from agentic AI use cases to product roadmaps. The two-day conference will also include training sessions and product roundtables where attendees can come together to share opinions and insights peer-to-peer. The company has yet to publish a list of speakers for the event.
AICPA CFO Conference 2027
April 26-28
Nashville, Tenn.
The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ 2027 conference aims to create a space where finance chiefs can step back from their day-to-day responsibilities and “engage with what is shaping the next era of corporate finance leadership,” according to the AICPA, which has run the annual event for 15 years. Next year’s conference will include sessions on topics including capital and liquidity, digital transformation and personal development.

CFO Summit

New York
The one-day event hosted by the Finance Alliance will focus on bringing automation deeper into the finance function, helping CFOs and other finance leaders learn how to drive growth as their businesses look to move beyond manual, time-consuming processes. Attendees will be able to connect with fellow CFOs to determine how to unblock decision bottlenecks, network with peers and discuss approaches to technology and new solutions.
Speakers at past summits, which is by invitation only, have included Anaïs Lempereur, CFO of Hallmark Media and Frederico Reyes, previously the CFO for Magnolia Bakery.
WSJ CFO & COO Council Summit
May 17-18
Middleburg, Va.
The Wall Street Journal’s two-day summit will bring together business leaders across finance and operations, who will hear from key leaders and companies that are successfully navigating ongoing uncertainty, the publication said. The summit will create multiple opportunities for discussion between attendees, with a focus on “peer discussion and learning” in small group sessions, the WSJ said.
Past summits, such as the WSJ’s CFO Council Summit in March 2026, have featured workshops on women in finance and panel discussions on topics such as planning for financial uncertainty and balancing AI speed and AI governance. Speakers at the conference included Visa CFO Chris Suh, Marc Charnas, CFO of GE Appliances, and Ray Carpenter, CFO of DIRECTV.
Gartner Finance Symposium 2027
June 2-4
National Harbor, Md.
The annual finance conference hosted by Gartner will bring together CFOs, finance professionals and analysts to discuss the issues that remain top of mind for finance chiefs today.
Gartner has yet to publish its 2027 event agenda. The 2026 conference included panels on AI in finance and board, investor and stockholder communications and hosted keynote speakers including Peter Hinssen, a business adviser and author. Guest speakers at the 2026 event also included Tom Hood, EVP, business growth and engagement for AICPA-CIMA, Sean Dougan, SVP, finance transformation for Dell Technologies and Tiho Nedkov, director of finance for Uber.
CFO Leadership Conference

The CFO Leadership Council brings together over 2,000 CFOs and senior finance professionals in a network aimed at offering peer to peer insights and support. Its annual spring conference will include panels and breakout sessions aimed at helping finance professionals develop company strategy. A full agenda of the 2027 spring event is not yet available.
